The
Story of Crystalina Pierreby SG Author Colleen
Thwack! Thwack! The sound of sneakers hitting the track is Crystalina's favorite sound. And it should be, seeing as she is one of the fastest track runners in her grade. Life is letting her live to the fullest with great friends, a great mom, and of course, a great house. Slowly Crystalina begins to feel that nothing bad can find its way into this little town she lives in. Then comes the day that no one in her town will forget, and Crystalina's world turns topsy-turvy…

About the Author |
Hello! My name is Colleen and I wrote The Story of Crystalina Pierre. I am twelve years old, and I am turning thirteen on May 29th. I found out about this website through my absolute BFFL, Camille, who is the author of Beyond the Barn. Camille and I go to the same school, which is how I met her in 5th Grade.
My favorite thing to do is read. If I get a new book during the school year, I usually end up reading the book instead of doing my homework. So, I usually try to stop myself, unless it is a really good book like Marley and Me. I don't really have to worry, because I somehow manage to keep my grades at least at a 'B' average.
My family consists of my Mom and Daddy, my 18 year old brother, Doug, my 16 year old brother Neal, me, and the new baby Frances Jane. I also have four cats, Smokey (gray), Buffy (blue and white), Ebony (black), and Libby (black). Libby is my birthday kitten, so I love her the most.
My favorite subject is tied between math and science, and my second favorite is tied between English and communications. My best friends are Camille, Emma, Gabby, and Marie, Marteana, and most everyone who sits at our lunch table.
My hobbies include reading, watching my favorite movies, singing, dancing, playing my guitar, hanging out with friends, swimming, running track, rock climbing at the YMCA, and eating Private Selection Extreme Moose Tracks Ice Cream from Hilander. I LOVE ice cream.
Here are my Top Three Favorites for every category I can think of:
I get my inspiration for writing from other stories, my family, friends, and dreams. I hope you enjoy my story.
