Does your school have cliques? Yes, and there's not much mixing: 43; A little bit, but it's not strict: 48; No, there aren't exclusive groups: 18.

The results are in, and it looks like the fewest SmartGirls go to school where there aren't any obvious, selective groups of students [16.5%]. Most SmartGirls go to a school where there are exclusive groups, but it's nothing that gets in the way of getting to know each other [44.0%]. Almost as many SmartGirls go to a school where the cliques don't mix at all, though [39.4%].

I'm home-schooled. I just get outta bed, get dressed, brush my hair and teeth. Then I walk to our schoolroom and learn everything kids my age do and lots more! Home-schoolers are very creative~!!!

Discussion:

Do you think cliques are good for school? Would you rather go to school where there are lots of cliques or no cliques at all? Would you want to be friends with everyone at school? What's the best reason to have cliques? In what way are cliques bad for schools? Is it necessarily a problem to be labeled? Do you think a clique is more likely to support you to the top or hold you back?
