Your SmartScope for July 2008:

Sometimes, it's really hard to be patient but this month, you'll have to learn to grit your teeth and wait some things out. It all starts near the 3rd when you realize asking a simple question doesn't always get you a simple answer. If you demand a response right away, you're not going to get everything you want so it's in your favor to hold your horses. While you're waiting for clarification, around the 11th, someone close to you seeks out your help. It's a good idea to give it, but you might want to practice taking deep breaths and counting slowly to ten before you volunteer. They're going to try your patience but the end result will be rewarding, if you can stick it out. On the 20th, you're just feeling antsy but be really careful not to take it out on your family members. If you do, you could find yourself in some hot water. And if you can make it beyond that bout of impatience, consider yourself good for awhile and brainstorm a list of things to look forward to in August.

About You, Sagittarius:

The Myth: In Greek mythology, Sagittarius is commonly associated with centaurs (a half-human, half-horse creature), and more specifically with Chiron, an important centaur who was known for his healing powers and respected for his teachings. Chiron sacrificed his life so that men could obtain fire, and this sacrifice won him a place in the sky. The bow that Chiron is aiming is pointed at Scorpio, the scorpion.
Cool Fact: The Sagittarius constellation contains the closest known black hole to Earth.
As a Sagittarius, you might be... free-spirited, intelligent, positive and energetic
Careers a Sagittarius might like: Scientist, tour guide or travel agent, lawyer, teacher, theologian (someone who studies religion)

Famous Female Sagittarius:

Surya Bonaly (December 15, 1973) is the only figure skater in the world who can land a backflip on one blade, and is said to be the only female skater to have accomplished a quadruple toe loop jump. She is famous not only for her skill at the sport but for the attitude she brings to the ice: defiance, brashness and cheekiness. Although she was born in France, she is now an American citizen and tours with the noncompetitive skating group Champions on Ice.
