Your SmartScope for July 2008:

You live, you learn. Normally it's a good idea to trust your instincts, but near the beginning of July, that philosophy leads you astray. So you were wrong. So what? Near the 8th, it becomes clear that you have two choices: you can dwell on your mistake or you can get up and get on with other things. Around the 14th, you're tempted to follow your gut again but this time, you're hesitant. It was wrong once, will it be wrong again? Consult a friend for advice and see if their instinct is the same as yours. If it is, consider yourself back in the game and your gut the best coach on the field. If it's not, give your intuition a rest for a few days and lay low. Don't make any big decisions until you find yourself trusting yourself again - and chances are, that'll be around the 24th. Sure, it's late in the game but something could happen right as July rolls into August, and this time, you'll be ready to make your play.

About You, Libra:

The Myth: In Greek mythology, Astraea was the daughter of Zeus (the King of the Gods) and Themis (the Goddess of Justice). Like her mother, Astraea represented justice, and she was the last of the immortals to live with humans on earth. Disgusted with humanity, she returned to the sky and became the constellation Virgo. She carried with her the scales of justice, and these became Libra, one of Virgo's neighbor constellations.

As a revolutionist writer, she entertained fellow revolutionaries from around the world at her home in Europe. She was banned from India by the British government but returned anyway to see the country before she died in 1936.
