"Best field trip EVER!!"

What were three things that you were able to do at this travel destination that you couldn't do in your hometown?

In Washington, we could see the Washington Monument anywhere in the city! Also, everywhere we went, we had to go under metal detectors, which we don't have in my hometown. Oh, and we went to places that are on the Internet and TV all the time!

When visitng this travel destination, what foods would you suggest trying?

Well, I wouldn't suggest eating at the ESPN place. We went there for our last dinner in Washington, and it was expensive and bad. I tried their fried chicken and their hamburger. Wasn't worth it!! Unless you love sports, don't go there!!

Did you learn any phrases specific to this travel destination that might be useful to other SmartGirls?

The only phrase I saw was on a pen I bought: "More cherry blossoms than people." Of course, when we went, no cherry blossoms were blooming yet, but if we had, I'll bet they're beautiful!

When you were traveling, what was the easiest way for you to get from place to place?

Describe one of your favorite memories from this trip:

One of my many favorite experiences from D.C. was at the place where we met Saxby Chambliss. I was standing only two feet from him!!

Well, Saxby Chambliss was the only famous person we met. He's the Senator, you know. He's also a Conservative, which I am. And thirdly he's just AWESOME!

Well, there was the Metro. I guess riding a train everywhere is a custom there.

Being a parrot would be fun, because it can talk and be a lot like a human!

One, I want a big room. Mine's tiny. Two, I want to be an awesome drummer. I'm a drummer now, but I'm not too good. Three, I wish that I could meet the guy I like!

Lars Ulrich from Metallica because they were inducted into the Hall of Fame in April. If someone like him could do that, I know I could!
