You should definitely listen to Our Song, Picture to Burn, and Should've Said No

Unique, upbeat, personal

How does listening to this music make you feel?

It makes me want to get up and dance. Lots of the songs make you want to make a cool music video. The songs can also really relate to you.

In what ways were you impressed or unimpressed by the lyrics?

There were 2 swear words on the entire CD. Otherwise, the lyrics were amazing. Taylor Swift wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on the CD. All of the songs have upbeat tunes and you'll get really personal with some of the lyrics.

If you could give this artist one piece of advice about how they can improve their next album, what would it be?

I would tell her not to put any swear words in the songs. I would also tell her to not have all of her songs be about love. Most of her fans haven't ever even had a boyfriend, yet. 

What type of listener do you think would appreciate the album?

I think any age would like it. My little brother, 9, likes it. I like it and I'm 11. My mom even likes it and she's 38. Lots of people who like country and pop will like her style.

Are the messages in this artist's music good or bad influences for people your age?

They are good. They tell about how it feels to be in love and that you should have fun in life.

Do you think this artist will continue to sell albums in ten years?

I hope so. She is only 19 years old. She is also one of my role models, one, because she's from my county, two, because she hasn't done anything bad, and three, she is an amazing singer.

Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, and Miley Cyrus
