What is this magazine about? What are some of the regular topics or articles in the magazine?

It covers a wide variety of topics, like world issues (rape, animal cruelty) to fashion advice and what some celebrities are wearing. It also covers topics about health, like sex, and has places to write in a question you want to ask about anything.

Who should be reading this magazine?

It's definitely a girl’s magazine, although it's not bad if guys read it. They also find it interesting, despite the fact that the magazine is aimed at teen girls (ages 12-20)

What do you consider to be the best part of the magazine?

The articles. The 'Big Issue' is always interesting, and I love hearing about other peoples life changing experiences. The Dolly Doctor is very educational, and the beauty and fashion advice has helped me out more then once!

What do you consider to be the worst part of the magazine?

The 'Boy Stuff' section. It basically TELLS you how to act around a boy, like what to say. I think it should encourage girls to be themselves and to talk to guys using their own words. But it's no big thing, and I'm sure it's helped out lots of guy-shy girls.

What do you think of the advertising in this magazine?

I think it's great Dolly don't just advertise using skinny girls. Using bigger girls who are just as beautiful, if not more, then skinny girls shows that Dolly is encouraging girls to accept themselves as they are and love the skin they're in. I also like how Dolly advertises products and services available in Australia (beauty products, etc.) What I don't like is all the advertising pages in front of the contents page. One or two is okay, but five is definitely annoying.

How much does a subscription to the magazine cost? How much does one issue cost? (This information should be on the cover or in a postcard inside the magazine)

Australia: $4.60 single issue; $50 subscription for 1 year (12 issues) New Zealand: $5.20 single issue; $A63 subscription for 1 year (12 issues)

Do you have any other comments about yourself or the magazine that would give us a better understanding of your review?

Dolly is a very good magazine, and although many people don’t realize it, very educational. Overall, I advice people to subscribe, it saves money and is delivered to your door, and I can't get enough of it!!!
