Rating: ** two stars (not bad but not good either)

What is this magazine about? What are some of the regular topics or articles in the magazine?

Boys! In this and many of the other magazines there are always many articles about boys. I hate it! It makes girls my age seem like hormonal freaks, only caring about seeing a few pictures of guys and getting kissing tips. It's pathetic, really. I get embarassed if my mother reads through it.

Who should be reading this magazine?

No one under thirteen. People say ten to seventeen, but that is rubbish. No sane seventeen year old would be caught dead with a issue of sugar. It's more likely to be read by 13-16 year olds, because of the adult content such as references to sex that I think a lot of people wouldn't want their daughters reading about.

What do you consider to be the best part of the magazine?

Honestly, maybe the cringe page or the problems. I find the problems difficult to relate to. Common problems which come up in the magazine are, "I have never had sex but I think I am pregnant." Questions like this are rubbish and extremely reoccuring. Other questions include, "I think I have a disease - smelly white stuff keeps appearing in my knickers." No educated teenagers would have these problems - it is called DISCHARGE!!!!

What do you consider to be the worst part of the magazine?

The reference to "lads," and the fact that they consider girls to be boy crazed lunatics.

What do you think of the advertising in this magazine?

Probably the cringe page. It is occasionaly laugh out loud funny!!

How much does a subscription to the magazine cost? How much does one issue cost? (This information should be on the cover or in a postcard inside the magazine)

I think an issue is about 1.75 sterling, and to get a two month subscription is about 9.75.

Do you have any other comments about yourself or the magazine that would give us a better understanding of your review?

I am a normal 13 yr old (almost 14 i might add) and my opinions are shared throughout my class, I hate to admit it but there are airhead teenagers and I sincerly believe that these trashy magazines are the cause.
