Basically, in the blink of an eye, everybody over the age of 14 disappears. Poof! Now the kids have to figure out how to survive and what caused the adults to disappear. And the bullies have taken over...

The title refers to the fact that everyone over the age of 14 disappears. Gone.
If you could rewrite the story, what would you change to make it better?
I would maybe make the beginning more fast-paced. Other than that, I woudn't change anything.
Why would you recommend (or not recommend) this book to a friend?
I would recommend this book because it was kind of a learning experience. It showed me that you shouldn't take your parents or doctors or any adults for granted.

I heard good things about it.

I think this would be a good read for anyone over the age of 12. Kids shouldn't read this because some parts are very violent and gruesome, not to mention graphic.
