A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer (by Tiffany, 18)

"Don't think twice about it the book is a must have!!!"

Book Rating: **** four stars (incredible)
Book Subcategory: A Good Read

What is this book about? (please don't give away the ending!)

This book is about a child that was faced with the cruelty of abuse. The book expressed the struggles that David encountered and showed his undying will to survive.

What did you like about the book? Or, who was your favorite character in the book and why?

I really appreciated the teachers of David who felt the need to step in. Enough was finally enough. What I like about the book is informative it is without being to much to handle. He is a brave and special man.

Was there anything you didn't like about the story or the writing style?

The only thing about the book I really coundn't take is the cruelty and uncaring ways of his mother. I found it hard to understand how a mother could be so cruel.

Do you have any other comments about yourself or the book that would give us a better understanding of your review?

Being an abused child myself the book was very inspirational. I hope that every child who has faced some type of abuse read this so they now that their not alone and where they can go for help.
