Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank (by Erin, 14)

"Read Alas, Babylon if you have interest in nuclear wars or survival."

Book Rating: ** two stars (not bad but not good either)
Book Subcategory: A Good Read

What is this book about? (please don't give away the ending!)

This book is about the struggles a town must go though to survive a nuclear war that is taking place. It focuses mainly on one man trying to keep everything together. Many disasters and inconveniences happen during this war.

What did you like about the book? Or, who was your favorite character in the book and why?

I liked how the book made you look at life differently. You learn not to take things for granted and be happy with what you already have.

Was there anything you didn't like about the story or the writing style?

I didn't like how the author had so many characters involved in the story. I also think the author described the war in too much detail.

Do you have any other comments about yourself or the book that would give us a better understanding of your review?

I am reading Alas, Babylon as an assignment for school and not for my own interest.
