Please describe what the product is used for.

This is a gel used to hold your hair the way you want it. I scrunch it in after I towel-dry my hair for curl definition and less frizz.

They make a variety of cheap hair gels - you can find a gel for just about everything. The Mega Mega Hold gel alone comes in a 26 oz pump bottle, a 20 oz bottle, as a spray gel, and in a 4 oz travel tube.

How often do you use this product?

Once or twice a week

Did this product live up to your expectations?

Yes. It provides good hold and keeps frizz down, and it's alcohol free so it doesn't dry out my hair. Plus, it lasts and smells good. 

What is the best thing, if anything, about this product?

It's a great gel, and it's very cheap - I got a 20 oz (HUGE!) bottle from ShopRite for only $2.29. And it works much better than anything else I've tried that's more expensive. 

What is the worst thing, if anything, about this product?

It makes your hair a little crunchy, which some people like and some don't. But if it bothers you, you can just scrunch it again once it's dry to get rid of the crunch. 

Would you buy this product again? Why or why not?

Yes, I haven't found another product as good. 

Do you have any comments about a similar product, made by a different company? Please tell us whether you thought it was better or worse than this one, and why.

I've tried a lot of gels from other companies, but they dry my hair out and don't smell as nice, not to mention not providing very much hold.
