Hairagami (by Laurel, 12, Girl)

"Practice makes perfect- the finished product is great."

Rating: *** three stars (good but not perfect)
Beauty and Body Care Products Subcategory: Hair Care

Please describe what the product is used for.

You use the Hairagami to style your hair into up-doos and ponies. The Hairagami is made of two "snap action" sticks that are attatched and snap when you fold them.

What is the full name of the company that manufactures this product?

Hairagmi

Do you have any comments about the company that makes this product?

The Hairagami can be purchased from TV infomercials, or from accessory stores like Claires.

How often do you use this product?

Once or twice a week

Did this product live up to your expectations?

When buying this product, all I wanted was a new, fancier way to wear my hair. With a little practice, the Hairagami will take seconds to style, and has so many ways to style.

What is the best thing, if anything, about this product?

The snap action is hard to get used to, but the styles DO work and they look great when they come out the right way.

What is the worst thing, if anything, about this product?

The worst things about this product are: 1) It often snaps before you are ready and that is painful. 2) The hair will sometimes fall out in the middle of styling. 3) It takes practice for your style to come out the way it looks in the picture. 4) You need to buy two Hairagamis for some styles.

Would you buy this product again? Why or why not?

This product makes a great gift (for friends with long hair) and it is worth it to buy two so you can do all the styles.

Do you have any comments about a similar product, made by a different company? Please tell us whether you thought it was better or worse than this one, and why.

My Hairagami came just with an instruction booklet, but you can also buy a video that goes through all the styles. The company also makes a Hairagami called "The Snap-Action Scrunchie" that you use to make fancy ponies.

Please tell us something about yourself that would give us a better understanding of your review.

I'm a twelve year old girl with thickish brown hair that goes just past my shoulder.
