Using the T-test, I see that there is no big difference between the bars on the graph. However, there are 0.42 more no's than yes's for girls who listen to rap. This is not what I predicted! I thought more older girls listen to rap, but it seems that there is an equal number of girls of all ages who listen to rap.

The relationship is not what I predicted! Since my p-value is over 0.5 (p=0.075281), the relationship is not statistically significant. The data does not support my hypothesis.

I found that girls of all ages listened to the same amount of rap. Beyond my study, it means that girls, who are very young, are listening to rap music. Rap music today is usually very violent, with a lot of profane langauge. Many young girls should not listen to rap because the content of rap is not age appropriate.

The original question was whether or not older girls listened to more rap than younger girls. I learned that younger and older girls listened to an equal amount of rap. If I could change my study, I would see if older girls listened to more rap than younger girls in a specific area, like the South. Perhaps the answer will be different! I could give the survey to elementary, middle, and high school girls in the South and see if the answer differs. Also, I could create another survey to see if younger and older girls like the rap for the same reason, or if they like the same rap artists!
