We wanted to know who picks out your clothes. The vast majority (683) of you always pick out your own duds, while 186 said you sometimes decide on your clothing purchases. Only 12 said you never choose your clothes. I guess it depends on who is paying! If you could design your own dream prom dress, what would it look like? ~346 said an elegant and simple silk dress was the way to go on prom night ~289 decided they wanted what any princess would wear- a full sparkly ball gown. ~174 preferred their dress to be short and fun, the right combo to dance their butt of in ~56 wouldn't be caught dead at prom ~13 would wear a tuxedo Ooh la la! How long do you primp?

We asked how long it typically takes you to get ready in the morning. ~The majority of you (374) said that "Waking up an hour before school to shower, dress, and do some last-minute studying while eating breakfast." ~282 of you said "Waking up more than an hour before school for my high-maintenance routine of exercising, showering, blow drying my hair, picking out an outfit, applying make up, and eating breakfast. " ~158 answered "Waking up 30 minutes before school, brushing my teeth, grabbing a quick granola bar and OJ and running out the door. No shower!" ~58 said "Waking up minutes before school. I need as much sleep as I can get!"

Accessories add so much to an outfit! We asked SmartGirls how often they go shopping for accessories and clothes. Many of you (311) said you hit up the stores every few weeks to check out the new styles. Many others (302) said you partake in shopping every few months to get dressed for the changing seasons. 124 of you are lucky enough to go every few days because you never know when a store will suddenly have a super-sale! The rest go once a year, or don't shop for themselves. Extreme makeover challenge!

Makeovers are so in right now! We asked who you would makeover, if you could pick anyone. About 30% of you would totally makeover your best friend. 20% of you want to give your mom a brand new look. Other responses included your boy/girl friend, a celebrity, dad, or even yourself! Change is good! We asked what you thought about your fashion style. A huge majority (648) of you said that it matches your personality perfectly. 159 said it changes too much to really pinpoint how it matches your personality. 78 disagreed and said it really isn't like your personality at all. How often do you change your fashion style? ~425 said "Once in a while, I'm known to go through experimental fashion phases every few years." ~247 said "Quite Often - Sometimes a style really hits home, especially with the change in season." ~109 said "Every day - One day I'm wearing paint-covered overalls, the next, I'm wearing a pencil skirt and heels!" ~69 said "Never - I've been wearing what I wear today every since the day I was born!" Where do you buy your different fashion styles? The large majority (804) said they like to purchase clothes in the stores, while the rest of you shop online, through magazines, or you don't buy your own clothes yet. Black goes with everything. Or does it? We asked if you agreed or disagreed with this statement: Black is a great color for clothing. 390 strongly agreed because black is classy, slimming, and goes with everything! 347 agreed that black is a decent color to wear daily or once in awhile. 74 disagreed and said that black is boring, while 74 strongly disagreed and said that black is depressing, and to try some color!

Parents, siblings, and tv all had about the same amount of responses as well, around 42 each. Several of you cited other as your selection, adding such answers as "myself", "internet", and "people at school." It's fun to compare your fashion style to other people!
