I think that kids who feel that money is very important will feel more stress from money than kids who don't feel that money is that important.

| Relationship of Importance of Money to SmartGirls and the Stress They Feel From It |
|
| The bottom number is the importance of money, and the side numbers are the amount of stress from money felt by SmartGirls. |
|
Statistical Measures
Pearson Correlation Coefficient: 0.30; p=0.38.
Values near zero
indicate no correlation. Values near one indicate a high degree of
correlation, while values near negative one (-1) indicate that the
measures are opposite, ie that a high value of $import
tends to
accompany a low value of do$styo and vice versa.

The relationship is the same as I predicted this time. Yayyyy!!!!! I feel that this relationship is significant.

I found that kids who consider money to be very important felt the most stress from money. This makes sense, because if you don't think money is important, you won't think much about it, and if you don't think about something, how can you feel stress from it?! Beyond this study, this may mean that students need to be taught the importance of money, and that a lot of people don't have much money. (This is not reflected in this study, because people who don't have much money don't use the amount they have on computers, they spend it on food!!!) However, they also need to be taught not to stress about money, because it's not necessary unless the situation is very, very bad. And even then stress is not that good, because it can block thoughts of how to fix your problem.

I think the only thing I would change in this survey would be to find a way to reach a wider range of people, poor, rich, and working class of many ages worldwide (or at least nationwide) to get a better perspective of the actual situation. Results from a survey like that could have a lot of impact on a lot of different issues.
