My hypothesis
Teenage girls have more overall stress than preteen girls.

The predictor
The age of a girl

Statistical Measures

Median: 14
Mode: 13
Mean: 14.89, Std. Dev.: 4.23

The outcome
The amount of stress.

Statistical Measures

Median: 14
Mode: 13
Mean: 14.89, Std. Dev.: 4.23

Interpretation
Teenage girls have less school stress than a first grader but have more than the average elementary or junior high girl.

Statistical Measures

Evaluation
My hypothesis was wrong, compared to one age group (6), but correct with the others (7-12).

Summary of findings
Teenage girls have much more stress than the average kid, so girls should learn how to deal with all the stress they have. In a health education class, they could give some tips on stress relievers and how to avoid worrying so that the teenage stress levels go down.

Conclusion
I would probably ask the same question of a group of boys-just to see if teenage girls have more stress related to other kids than teenage boys do.
