am I Being Bullied? |
One time at school there were 6 people in a group including me. 3 friends said they needed to talk about a secret, and then another friend turned to the person next to us and said she had a secret, too. I was the only one left out. Another time she called me a grammar freak because I'm dyslexic. I talked to her and she said, "i don't care if you're a loner for 20 minutes!" My mom says she's bullying me, but I don't know...

Dear SmartGirl,
Yes, that is a form of bullying and not very nice for you! If you have other friends that you can hang out with who are nicer to you, go with them or make some new friends. You don't need to take this from these girls! Beware of what they are doing, but try to ignore it. They think they're being funny, but they're not at all. They are just making themselves look silly! Find some friends who treat you as you should be treated. I know it's hard at first, but it can be simple as just sitting next to someone new. =)

Dear SmartGirl,
Continue to fight for what you believe in! Look at all these amazing famous people in history such as Martin Luther King! He changed the world for what he believed in! Don't pay any attention to people making fun of you. Maybe one day it will be you making history!

Dear SmartGirl,
The way you are being treated certainly does sound like bullying, and it's intolerable. I would try to hang out with friends you can trust. If the bullying from this continues, I would definitely mention to your teacher and your mom so it can be monitored, and she will be discplined for her nasty behaviour.
