Okay, really, I am 16 and I don't have a goal in life. I don't know what to dream for, and I need help. I feel like I am getting nowhere. Please help me!!"

Try out a bunch of different things by volunteering or getting involved in extracurricular activities. If you're interested in acting, for example, try out for the school play or join the drama club. Or, if you're considering teaching, volunteer as a tutor. This way, you can figure out what you enjoy while getting some experience to put on your resume! |

Talk to a guidance counselor or an older person that you are close to (like an older sibling or parent). Discuss your concerns, and together the two of you can come up with a plan of action for setting a goal and then reaching it! |

Not that many people know what they want to do with the rest of their life at sixteen, but it's definitely a good time to begin! Start by finding information on your different options through books, the Internet, or friends. Once you have an idea of what you want to do, you can make that your goal! |

Don't worry so much! Sixteen is too young to stress out about these things. Enjoy your time in high school when you don't have the many responsibilities you'll have later in life. You still have plenty of time to figure out what you want to do! |

Yeah, I know what that's like. I think the best thing to do to bring meaning into your life is to help others. There is always going to be something that you personally will be unhappy with in your life. But if you can help someone else who has it far worse than you, you won't believe the sense of accomplishment and purpose it will give you.
Don't worry too much about what you want to do in life. Take your time and find out what interests you. Not many people know exactly what they want to achieve right away. I have a friend who decided that she wanted to be a designer, changed her mind that she wanted to be a model and then a scientist and so on, and now she's studying chemical engineering and she's really happy! Just make sure that whatever you decide will make you happy.
Think of what you like to do. Would you like to perfect your figure eight in ice skating? Do you want to learn a new piece on the piano? Whatever you like to do, there is probably something you want to work on. Your goals and dreams don't have to be about your job. Just find a goal for the near future and the rest will fall into place.
Thanks to all of you that gave your advice! Please give your
