Last week, Never Having Babies said:

"Hey I have this problem and I don't know how to make it go away. I haven't gotten my period for over three months. This is my first year having it so can I skip time spans that long like that without something being wrong? I don't want to tell my parents. What should I do?"

33% As long as you're not having sex, don't worry! You're body will soon lean to regulate your period.
10% Call a doctor or speak with the school nurse. You should find out what's going on with your body.
19% Why not tell your parents? Every mother has gone through stuff like this and I'm sure your father will be supportive.
11% If you're having sex, consider going to a women's clinic to find out if you're pregnant.

Some SmartGirls said:

  • I think you should at least tell your mom. If you had sex than you should really tell her.

  • Tell your mum but not your dad. You could even tell a teacher. Most female adults will know all about it. If you dont want to tell an adult, you can tell a friend — but my real advice is to just chill.

  • It's pretty normal in the first year or so; don't really worry about it. But if it's really bothering you, there ain't no harm in getting it checked out.
