"Last week when I was in math class, I caught my best friend Molly looking at my paper. She asked me for some of the answers, and when I didn't help her, she got the answers from someone else. Our teacher has a strict no-cheating policy and usually watches us like a hawk during tests just to make sure we don't even think about copying. But for this test, he had to step outside of class, so that's why my friend didn't get caught. I'm upset that she cheated, but I'm even angrier because she got the highest score on the test. Mr. Kelley, our math teacher, gave her the no homework award that you get for getting the best score. I think its wrong that she cheated and she should give back the award, but I don't know what to do. Can you help me?"

  • Find time to talk to your teacher. If you dont want to get a bad rap from your friend ask him to leave you anonymous when he talks to her.

  • I would talk to Molly in private and tell her that her dishonesty made you feel like she was using your friendship.

  • You shouldn't care because that was her choice, not yours. If she really is your friend you should let her decide on her own after telling her what you think. If you tell, you're really not a good friend!!!
